The Stranger

He sat across me,
a familiar face
in the montage of time
that rushed into the train.
A nameless man,
on his journey to where
I know not.
Yet there he stood,
filling me with a wave of recognition,
an unwitting friend; my anchor
in the sea of strangeness.

It's another poem. Obviously I still haven't grasped the technique, so indulge me (again). :)

Vous,
